We are now investing to strengthen our coverage of Civil and Environmental Engineering by appointment to: Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Structural Engineering.
Focusing on any relevant aspect of modern structural engineering, from its core fundamentals to the creative design, analysis, or assessment of bold solutions to modern infrastructure challenges for our society, you will demonstrate excellence in both your teaching and research. You will be passionate about educating future engineers and be willing to develop and use innovative approaches to enhance their learning experience inspiring and supporting them to develop their critical and independent problem solving, engineering design skills and creative thinking. An able communicator you will seek out collaborative research and teaching within the School and across the University, underpinning our research strategy for excellence, but will also foster, develop and grow your internationally prominent research agenda by winning significant external research funding. This is a full time and open ended position.
Salary £41,526 to £49,533 or £52,599 to £59,135 per annum (dependant on grade).
