The role: Client Account Handler

We are looking for a Client Account Handler to join our busy team of experienced insurance professionals based in Glasgow.
We require the successful candidate to work with Corporate clients including Real Estate business.

The advantages of this role is that it will give you dual exposure in managing all queries from an account handling perspective (renewals, adjustments, client queries, Certificates etc.) as well as working with calculations in Excel at a high level to support the transactional process and production of Certification required by clients .

Gain subject matter expertise in specific risk exposures and/or sales areas to grow knowledge base and better serve clients.
Assist with advising clients on risk management solutions which align to their strategic imperatives and risk exposures.
Cultivate relationships with team members to better meet client needs.
Attend and occasionally contribute to internal strategy meetings to better understand company strategy and serve clients.

What you need to have:

Previous account handling experience within a corporate or commercial insurance world
Ideally an exposure to real estate/property clients
Strong attention to detail and administrative skills
Fluency of use of MS-Excel

What makes you stand out:

Good account handling experience gained whilst supporting brokers/client advisers ideally for corporate real estate clients
Resilience, ambitious, happy to face clients and/or client facing stakeholders.
Strong Excel/calculations background
