WHAT YOU’RE HERE TO DO: The Account Manager’s responsibilities and duties are outlined in the key areas below. Sales • To be responsible for making outbound calls on a daily basis using data provided and converting the calls to new business leads. • To work closely with the Senior Account Manager and their team to ensure leads are generated within various business sectors. • To achieve realistic daily/weekly/monthly sales, revenue targets and KPIs • To adhere to the sales compliance rules at all times - all sales are generated in line with our quality standards • To be proactive in identifying opportunities for new business. • To input and maintain customer information onto the company database. • To deal with customer queries. • To build relationships with colleagues and clients, referring to senior team members for advice and support. • To deal with clients in a professional manner at all times in line with our company values. • Provide excellent customer service throughout the customer’s journey • To proactively support their manager by suggesting new ideas and questioning thinking where appropriate. • To attend all staff meetings, training and coaching sessions as and when required.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED: The Account Manager is expected to have the following specialist skills, knowledge and experience: - • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner • Ability to work independently and under pressure • Good verbal and written skills • A positive approach to objection handling is essential • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail • You must be financially motivated, energetic and reliable, with a hunger to succeed. • A good knowledge and understanding of the technical aspects of the following: - Social Networking (LinkedIn), Microsoft Office and associated systems, including CRM (training will be provided).
HOW PERFORMANCE IS MEASURED: We operate regular meetings, during which job performance will be discussed and reviewed. The Account Manager’s performance will be reviewed at least monthly against agreed objectives and KPI’s, with more frequent formal reviews that will take place throughout the year.
