As a result of significant transformation within our Specialist Adult Learning Disability service, we have a range of roles available within our West Essex Community Specialist Health Team.
ACE are part of Essex Learning Disability Partnership (ELDP) providing specialist healthcare for adults with learning disabilities across Essex. Alongside our partner organisations, Hertfordshire Partnership Foundation NHS Trust and Essex Partnership University NHS Trust, ELDP are looking to transform healthcare services to improve the health and wellbeing for individuals with a learning disability in Essex.
We have an opening for a full time Speech & Language Therapist to join the team to deliver assessment and treatment across West Essex within individuals own homes, care homes and other community settings. The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering a high quality service using evidence based principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions where appropriate.They will also work alongside the Service and Locality Leads to support and develop the ongoing transformation of LD services in Essex.
Successful applicants will be supported by an integrated team of speech and language therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, community nurses, psychologists and psychiatrists. We are committed to providing a robust supervision structure which will be explored with the successful candidates to understand their individual needs.A variety of training opportunities are available and individual areas of development are identified through an annual appraisal process.
Additional payments will be made for Fringe London Weighting (Basildon, Harlow, Epping).
