The School of Design is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor for a design/creative driven role with proven abilities to deliver world class teaching and research on the relationship between Creative Fashion Design, Textile Design for Fashion and Digital Fashion Innovation. The successful candidate will be expected to provide leadership across the range of the School’s activities, enhance the School’s research and teaching activities, and work with colleagues to build on the School’s reputation for excellence in Fashion Design Innovation. 

You will have a PhD in Fashion Design Innovation, or related area, have an established record of research publications commensurate with the level of the post, and a proven strategy for securing research funding and achieving internationally recognised standards of excellence. This appointment represents a major investment in the School’s commitment to the evolution and influence of fashion design and innovation across all research and learning and teaching activities, and one offering considerable potential for personal career development and fulfilment.  « Return to the search results
