Job Title: BI Developer
Contract: Permanent - Full Time (37.5 hours per week)
Salary: £34,000
Location: Eastleigh

Ageas are looking an experienced BI Developer to join us at the beginning of an exciting data transformation journey. The BI Developer will be an expert in Power BI, and will be responsible for mentoring stakeholders of all levels across the business in the rollout of this tool.

As well as being the SME for Power BI, the successful BI Developer will be diligent and honest with stakeholders of all levels.

Please note that the BI Developer role will be initially working from home, but once it safe to do so, the role will be a mixture of working from home and our Eastleigh office.

Here are some of the key responsibilities of the BI Developer role:
Identify, define, develop and deliver Business Intelligence solutions
Act as the visualisation/reporting expert and point of contact for the business
Deliver meaningful insights to the business with well thought through, actionable, clearly articulated analysis
Helping to create a single, robust and trusted reporting service for the organisation (data warehouse).
Proactively identify opportunities to translate and migrate existing BI/MI/analysis into the central reporting service

Here is some of the knowledge skills and experience required to be successful in the BI Developer role, based in our Head office in Eastleigh.
Awareness of reporting best practices and new/evolving analysis tools
Expert in Power BI including DAX.
Desire to develop stakeholder management and relationship building skills
Strong Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
Delivery of solutions in a fast paced commercial environment
