THE ROLE

 

This is a functional role within the IT Business Partner team for the business region of UK & ROW providing Business Analysis across our business information application systems.

 

Rentokil Initial has an IT strategy, in the main, of developing and deploying bespoke applications across the Prospect to Cash business processes. The Group Information Systems (GIS) function is developing an exciting new generation suite of Enterprise solutions utilising an Enterprise Service Bus and SOA architecture.

 

The role will engage the business stakeholders to gather and deliver the business case benefits, define business functional (and Non-Functional) requirements, organising appropriate user testing and supporting the

deployment of the applications

 

?            Liaises with the clients/users to deliver application upgrades and/or delivery of solutions across the prospect to cash processes.

 

?            Helps to define and justify (in business terms) projects to develop/implement application projects providing new or changed processes.

 

?            Assists clients/users in defining acceptance tests and takes responsibility for their proper execution

 

?            Assists the user community in provision of transition support and change delivery to realise required     business benefits.

 

Key Accountabilities:

?            Working with users, reviews proposed benefits and risks in the new/redesigned processes, confirms the acceptance criteria and ensures that they are properly documented in the business justification.

 

?            Specifies and develops test scenarios to test those new/redesigned processes deliver improved ways of working for the end user at the same time as delivering efficiencies and planned business benefits.

 

?            Works with colleagues and clients/users in specifying information flows, processes/procedures, and data objects that will meet the business requirements.

 

?            Records work with appropriate documentation, meeting the required standards and uses suitable methods and tools.

 

?            Assists clients/users in producing clearly defined acceptance tests for automated systems.

 

?            Facilitates scoping and business priority setting for large or complex changes, engaging senior stakeholders as required.

 

?            Selects the most appropriate means of representing Business requirements in the context of a specific change initiative. Drives the requirements elicitation process where necessary, identifying what stakeholder input is required.

 

?            Obtains formal agreement from a large and diverse range of potentially senior stakeholders and recipients to the scope and requirements, plus the establishment of a base-line on which delivery of a solution can commence.

 

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Experience with Business Process Mapping
Search Track
Experience with writing user stories
Working in a cross functional team – with QA’s and Technical global users
Produce an analysis to present
Agile Business Analyst
A strong analytical approach
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to converse with a range of stakeholders
Good understanding of all areas of business
Experience with requirements elicitation
Strong problem-solving skills
