Business Analyst sought by a rapidly expanding company. Due to continued growth we are looking for a Business Analyst specialist in Trade Finance Operations to join part of our Quality Assurance team.
REPORTING TO: Application Development Manager / Technical Director
Business Analyst – Trade Finance Operational Analyst
Extensive experience in the financial services Awareness of the main risks categories in financial services Trade experience preferably in an operational environment. Good technical knowledge of Trade operations and Product and Services. Must have operational knowledge of Forfaiting structures and Risk Distribution activities. Must be knowledgeable of full range of trade solutions (Letters of Credit, Collections, Guarantees, Receivables Finance, supply chain solutions, commodity and structured finance) from the operational perspective In depth Knowledge of Systems like GBS, TRIMS, Prime Revenue, Trade Pro and Bloomberg Dealing with Trade documents / Guarantees / Risk participations and Loan syndications. Responsible for interacting with the Sales and Product teams / Internal legal, operations head / Credit and Finance partners at the deal structuring stage. Experience in Supply Chain and Accounts receivable (This list is not exhaustive, the job holder may be required to carry out other duties as required to fulfil the role)
A strong understanding of Business Procedures, practices and principles. Good written and oral communication skills, including the ability to articulate views, opinions and technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences: At large meetings and in group situations Individually with colleagues and management. Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to work with minimal supervision where required. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Excellent time management skills, and a proven track record in meeting project deadlines. Ability to identify and quantify risks and communicate these to project stakeholders.
