Description - As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible to review existing business processes and operations and effectively connect business stakeholders in product development to build IT solutions. You will also be heavily engaged in assessing impact of IT projects implementation on existing business and IT processes and help to build robust controls framework to mitigate any such emerging risks. You will coordinate product development on matters of controls by identifying risks ahead of development, in line with the business and operational needs. You will also be required to be actively engaged in reviewing and monitoring test plans.
Responsible for adhering to applications security procedures, change control guidelines. Responsible for requirement analysis, documentation, and coordination of the Product Development business requirements. Participates in short and long-term planning sessions of product development to implement process improvement within the area. Collaborates with business partners in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs through the analysis of business workflows. Participates in the management of IT projects. Assesses their needs utilising a structured requirements process (gathering, analysing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritise immediate business needs and recommend options, risks and cost vs. benefits. Conducts feasibility studies and drafts proposals for evaluation by appropriate users and managers. Develops and assists in the presentation of business cases to the Product Development team. Develops, writes, and communicates requirements for the design and implementation of business solutions. Reviews the test plans and monitors the testing process to ensure that business results are adequately tested and the remaining risks are acceptable. Investigates, resolves and escalates problems. Monitors and analyses metrics to ensure customer satisfaction. Provides technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced individuals.
Working experience as a business analyst on software projects Experience of working on UK Property Portals and knowledge of property investment fundamentals Good knowledge of designing, developing and executing user stories/test scenarios and test scripts for the user acceptance testing phases Excellent knowledge of automated build process, best practice and principles Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies/Prince2 Excellent communication skills and client facing experience Fully conversant with and proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and preferably Visio Ability to evaluate complex scenarios, draw out key factors, understand cause and effect, understand benefits/risks and assess downstream impacts
