Provides spare parts to the heavy , industrial and agricultural vehicles used in the construction marine and agricultural industry. The KMP group supplies approximately thirty five thousand different types of spare parts to over one hundred countries.
The company has a particularly strong presence in all the Gulf states and throughout the Middle East.
It is looking for a regional Business Development Manager to focus on the markets of the Middle East aside from the Gulf States.
Salary : £35,000.
The post will be based at our headquarters KMP House, Business Park, HanworthLn, ChertseyKT169JX in the United Kingdom but will require frequent and protracted presence in our Arab markets as follows: -

The post of Business Development Manager will require
Frequent travelling throughout the Arab states of the middle east in order to meet clients, discuss their orders and ensure their effective implementation.
The successful candidate will develop new business in both established and new markets.
He will need to be able to identify the separate types of spare parts required and ensure that the specific item required is correctly ordered and supplied. Fluent Arabic is required with an attention to detail, and an understanding of logistics is preferred.
The company will be supplying to regions of protracted instability, and the ability to ensure the delivery of the right materials on time, is necessary for the integrity of the company in some of the most dangerous environments in which we operate.
The company is looking to develop the Iraqi market. For this reason, past experience in Iraq, throughout the country and the ability and willingness to travel throughout the country is essential.
Similarly as emerging markets in the Middle East start to become available the regional development manager must be willing to travel to such countries.
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for devising marketing strategy for increased market share, as well as entering new markets.
He will need to produce reports to the Head Office setting sales and future emerging growth.
He will need to liaise with the appropriate authorities of each of the markets in which he operates to ensure that products meet regulatory standards in which they are supplied and that customs requirements are met.
He will need to ascertain the best pricing strategy for each client in light of the company’s overall strategy for the specific country and highly volatile nature of the environment in which he will be expected to operate.
In addition, the Regional business development manager will need the following specific skills:
Fluent Arabic and English.
The ability to travel freely throughout the Arab world.
The ability and willingness to travel freely throughout Iraq.
More than three years business experience in the Middle East .
Past experience in sales in Iraq.
Degree in Business, Marketing or Accounting preferred.
In addition the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate some working knowledge of spare parts in Earth Moving Equipment and to identify the same in both Arab and English and further identify which specific reference a particular part pertains to.
