As our Business Intelligence Analyst, you will report directly to the Head of Business Intelligence and will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and projects related to data management, and ad hoc reporting for our North America business segment. You will have regular interactions with the Sales and Marketing teams, playing a crucial role in supporting their data-driven decision-making processes.

Role Overview:

In this unique opportunity, you will become a NetSuite (ERP) champion and utilize PowerBI to analyze and visualize data. As part of your role, you will contribute directly to the growth and development of our team, while simultaneously expanding your own skills and knowledge in the data field. Your contributions will be instrumental in building and shaping our data capabilities, enabling us to identify valuable insights and drive strategic decision-making to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing data manipulation, analysis, validation, cleansing, collection.
  • Helping support business objectives and strategies related to data collection, data health, and other functions that rely on data for execution.
  • Extracting and analyzing data from various sources, including databases, manual files, and external websites.
  • Supporting initiatives for data integrity and standardization.
  • Building tracking and analytics tools to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to enable quality analytics across the organisation.
  • Responding to data inquiries from various groups/departments within the organisation.
  • Creating and publishing regularly scheduled and/or ad hoc reports as needed.
  • Analyzing and reporting CRM performance data back to Marketing and Sales teams to help drive business decisions and increase the effectiveness of both departments.
  • Performing data collection through email and phone surveys.
  • Utilize PowerBI to create visualizations and dashboards, effectively communicating data-driven insights to key stakeholders.

What will give you the edge:

  • Academic background in a quantitative or related field (e.g., analytics, applied mathematics, economics, statistics).
  • Intermediate-high level knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • PowerBI knowledge (desired)
  • Experience working with CRM systems, relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software, NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Understanding of data gathering, validation, cleansing, transforming, and modeling/diagramming techniques.
  • Experience understanding, processing, analyzing, visualizing, and communicating complex data sets to technical and non-technical audiences, tailoring your message to show business value and impact by understanding the goal and your audience.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Methodical and logical approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to respond positively to pressure and take a flexible approach to a dynamic, fast moving and changing work environment.
  • Work well with a wide range of people on a global basis.
  • Proactive with the ability and confidence to use initiative.
