The starting salary for this role is £29,291 per annum for working 36 hours per week.
We are looking for a full time Business Support Coordinator to work in this varied and interesting role within the Children, Families & Learning Business Support Team based in our Leatherhead office.
About us
Children, Families and Learning provides a range of highly specialist services to vulnerable children and young people. Services are delivered directly to children and their families within extensive statutory frameworks and staff working in these areas need specialist knowledge in order to deliver effective services to these high risk and high need groups. Much of this work requires closer working with key stakeholders (parents / carers, schools, health services, police and voluntary organisations).
Our admin teams support Child Protection and Child Looked After professionals and this role will work closely with the Senior Business Team Leader to provide high quality and timely support to Child Protection Conferences and Looked After Reviews.
About you
You will have excellent interpersonal skills along with a high level of written and verbal communication skills and an ability to guide and motivate people.
You will be highly organised, willing to take responsibility and use initiative, and comfortable in setting your own priorities and meeting deadlines. You will support with implementing process improvements to increase admin performance and customer satisfaction.
You will have experience of working with highly confidential information in a customer focused environment and have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
You will be given a comprehensive induction to introduce you to this specialised and highly confidential area of work. Equipment is provided and travel costs reimbursed, as you'll need to travel to venues throughout the county.
We are currently virtual working due to the pandemic but expect to return to ‘business as usual’ in the following months.
