Bibby Financial Services have an exciting opportunity available for a collaborative Change Portfolio Manager to join our team in Banbury (hybrid working). You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £60,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus benefits.

As our Change Portfolio Manager,you'll be enabling and driving the delivery of our BFS-wide strategy and the associated programmes and projects, across the organisation, ensuring alignment to guiding principles and frameworks.

Your responsibilities as our Change Portfolio Manager will include:

  • Working collaboratively with country and function teams to shape and set up their portfolio/programmes of work
  • Working with the Leadership Team and senior management to actively plan, manage, and update the portfolio roadmap
  • Providing ongoing quality assurance of the portfolio
  • Understanding and advising on the complex series of related projects, and their interdependencies
  • Listening for, uncovering, and providing advice on the resolution of potential conflicts or disagreements about project priorities
  • Ensuring that BFS colleagues understand the change that will be delivered, how it impacts them and its support of the BFS Strategy
  • Continuously improving and managing the set-up of the delivery framework
  • Identifying, defining, and driving iterative improvements to project delivery and governance frameworks
  • Providing consultancy advice or management to the delivery of BFS wide initiatives and programmes
  • Managing and nurturing the BFS global change community
  • Carrying out discreet pieces of work to support the delivery of the strategic portfolio of projects

What we are looking for in our ideal Change Portfolio Manager:

  • Recognised project management qualifications, or equivalent experience, e.g. PRINCE2, Association of Project Management (APM), Managing Successful Programmes (MSP), Agile, Management of Portfolios (MOP)
  • Technical knowledge of project and programme management approaches
  • A strategic thinker with a broad perspective to see how things affect programmes/projects and organisational strategy
  • Knowledge of managing project life cycles and risk
  • A minimum of 5 years experience of programme and project management delivery methodologies (e.g. Prince2, MSP, Agile, APM, ITL), tools and techniques, especially project planning, and change management, within a large and complex programme/project environment
  • Demonstrable experience in training and coaching others
  • The ability to apply good practice in all aspects of portfolio and PMO management, with a focus on practical results rather than just process
