Main Purpose:

To supervise, direct and execute operations on the assigned project to ensure it is completed safely, on time and within budget.

Roles Responsible For:

General Responsibilities

· Ensure any fire-related works have the necessary design and are installed in accordance with the design.

· Produce 2-week look ahead programmes for managers, operatives and sub-contractors working under you to

ensure that the construction programme is achieved.

· Ensure all operatives have signed a daily safe start, are inducted, have the relevant permit for their works,

receive weekly toolbox talks and are working to the appropriate risk assessments and method statements.

· Ensure the works are planned out in a logical manner paying attention to materials storage, deliveries, plant and

traffic movements, craneage and any other site logistics.

· Management of plant/materials to ensure it is ordered in advance, used efficiently, tracked while on-site and off-

hired when no longer required.

· Manage labour resources, i.e. decorators, electricians, and ensure these do not exceed the labour forecast for

the project.

· Ensure all materials are taken off, ordered and delivered to site in advance of any works and in line with the

construction programme.

· Ensure all managers/engineers and sub-contractors are working to the latest construction issue information.

· Liaise with the cladding & fire stop installers on-site to ensure that all works are carried out in appropriate time

and their accuracy is checked.

· Ensure all the relevant QA is completed, as well as any sub-contractors working under you. Report to the PM any

items raised with regard to QA and propose remedial actions

· Keep a daily site diary of work activities, visitors, deliveries etc

Key Performance Indicators:

· Ensuring all cladding & fire stop activities are carried out on programme, cost and quality.

· Achieve zero notices, letters of complaint or prosecutions from the Local Authority, client or residents in relation to

internal works.

· Achieve signoff of works from a competent Fire engineer.

General (All Staff)

· Manage the performance of all staff assigned to you in accordance with legislation and company procedures.

· Undertake any reasonable duties expected of you.

· Attend and engage fully in any learning and development activities that are deemed appropriate by your line

management.

· Carry out all work in accordance with health and safety and any other legal requirements.

· Embrace Fairness, Inclusion & Respect in line with the company’s strategy.

· Participate in team/business meetings as necessary.

· Participate and engage fully with the PDR process and constantly work to improve your individual, your team and

the wider company performance.

· Follow and promote data protection principles in your own work and in your working environment.

2-3yrs Cladding supervisor experience

Extensive supervisor cladding experience with a good

understanding of the installation process

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Construction industry

Good organizational skills
