ResponsibilitiesClient Manager, Private Clients

We’re hiring! Aon are looking for a Client Manager to join our Affinity business based in Cardiff for our Private Clients Division.

Our specialist Private Clients division works with high net worth individuals to arrange cover for their homes, estates and collections.

Role Purpose

To grow revenues by developing new and retaining existing business within Private Clients; focusing upon efficient acquisition, retention and satisfaction of clients, built upon excellent service and specialist product knowledge.

In this role you will be responsible for:
 
  • Balancing service excellence with productivity and profitability
  • Negotiating renewals considering available markets
  • Ascertaining further opportunities whereby Aon may satisfy the client's insurance needs
  • Retaining an agreed proportion of client and to grow the book via new business  
  • Being aware of Market trends and maintaining high levels of technicalcompetance
  • Fully understanding the client requirement and ascertaining further opportunities which Aon may assist with e. cross selling and new business opportunities
  • Being available to deal with client calls and e-mails in a timely manor
  • Acting with honesty and integrity building trust and understanding
  • Producing quotations for mid-term adjustments I re-brokes and place cover for the client

As a Client Manager you will ideally have:
 
  • Technical insurance knowledge (ideally Private Clients)
  • Be able to demonstrate affective communication and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Have a passion for relationship building
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to work as part of a team and work independently 
  • Experience of managing effective clients
