Surrey County Council is looking for a talented and creative Communications and Project Support Officer to deliver the communications strategy and more for our Children’s Services Academy. We are seeking a professional communicator who can work across a range of internal and external channels and projects.
Our Children’s Services Academy recruits, retains and develops the Children’s Services’ workforce. It works to raise professional standards, introduce and embed new skills and ways of working, and provide up to date knowledge and research to support practice development.
The Academy supports staff within the Children, Families and Lifelong Learning Directorate, foster carers and partner agencies.
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively with stakeholders and develop outstanding relationships with colleagues and learners. This is a fantastic opportunity for a person with experience in communications and project management that is looking for a new opportunity. This is a new role, so there is lots of scope for creativity and new ideas. You will sit within the Academy team and work closely with the communications team to put new working practices in place and make a real difference with supporting our workforce and partners.
