We are currently looking for a Construction Contract Design Manager to join our talented team in Reading.

As the Construction Contract Design Manager, you will be responsible for the design, procurement, production, delivery and installation of balconies and/or balustrades on allocated projects.
Spending approximately 70% of your time on design work and 30% on project management, you will:
- Create value engineered designs within or below budget that meet or exceed customer expectations - Manage the budget, programme and customer relationships on your allocated projects - Arrange and prepare presentations for design review meetings - Communicate project requirements to the CAD Designer - Work with the Site Liaison Managers and Resource Scheduler to formulate and maintain project programmes - Liaise with the Quality Manager to review the quality plan for each project - Work with the Purchasing Team regarding material and service requirements
To join us as the Construction Contract Design Manager, you will need:
- At least five years’ progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in similar construction project and contract management roles, including contract and commercial negotiation, project administration, management, reporting, quality and health and safety standards - At a minimum, five years’ experience of working effectively with construction procedures and materials and project management principles including time with modular off-site construction - At least two years’ experience in the façade or balcony industry - At a minimum, an HND or equivalent qualification (ideally a degree) - A CSCS card - A full driving licence (preferably clean) - Good attention to detail and the ability to sees risks that others might miss
A project management certification would be beneficial to your application.
