About the role
You will join the team at an exciting and critical time in our digital development. We are seeking a dynamic individual with enthusiasm and initiative to support the Head of Digital Products and wider team as we develop a new roadmap for our core digital products.
You will collaborate with users and a wide range of experts and stakeholders to fully understand our organisational outcomes, and design high-quality content that’s easy to find, simple to understand and accessible to everyone.
You’ll work across Joseph Rowntree Foundation and Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, translating often complex information into user stories and create engaging, useful content.
Each member of the team plays an important role in us achieving our mission and we recognise the critical nature of digital in that journey. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and embed our approach to the Content Design specialism.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator who can demonstrate their experience of producing outstanding content tailored to meet user needs.
With advanced copywriting and editing skills, a passion for accessibility and plenty of content experience, you will be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
You will be collaborative and personable, able, and keen to work with colleagues across JRF and JRHT and with external partners, including those with lived experience of poverty.
The Joseph Rowntree Foundation (JRF) is a social change organisation with a 100-year history. We work with others to put forward sector-leading research, evidence, solutions and stories to the UK’s influencers and decision-makers.
The Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust (JRHT) is a registered housing association and care provider in Yorkshire and the North East.
JRF and JRHT are two important influencing organisations with an ambitious agenda for inspiring positive change in the UK in line with our vision of a prosperous and poverty free UK.
To make our vision a reality we need talent, ideas, skills and passion, plus we need to change some of what we do and how we do it.
If you share our passion, then we need to hear from you.
