We are currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established, family-run SME experiencing rapid growth. As Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a successful projects team in the delivery of all aspects of External Facade projects, predominantly in and around the Greater London area.

Key duties and responsibilities....

To assist the pre-construction team on key opportunities identified by providing knowledge, guidance, customer input and operational deliverables to assist through the project tender stages and up to securing of projects
To implement all statutory regulatory and company requirements in the management and oversight of Health and Safety on each of your projects
Supporting your team members with sales to operations handovers, production of project strategy, budgeting and plan as well as the implementation of the same
To work with and manage the sharing of company / project information, on a day to day basis, with the project team, customers and supply chain in view of achieving the optimum overall result for your project(s)
To de-risk project delivery through compliance and working in accord with the various basic forms of contractual documents & processes relative to our customers and supply chain.
To direct and lead the team in line with the project programmes / delivery schedules / project pathway maps including regular progress report(s) against base-lined information and proposing any necessary action/s to ensure the timely delivery of the projects
Responsibility for all client-side project stakeholder satisfaction
Careful management of project cost base and external client commercial account to ensure delivery of the same or an increased level of profit to that identified at the stage of project being secured

Requirements

Experience within Facade System project Management
Understanding of basic principles of JCT contracts in construction
Experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously
Management of multi-disciplinary teams
