BSBI Consulting is recruiting for a Data Analyst/Scientist to support the move to advanced modelling and machine learning development using Python or R to derive meaningful insight from customer and operational data to improve services and performance.
Required Skills
• Strong proficiency with a general-purpose programming language (preferably Python, R, Scala, or C) to identify meaningful insight and present this intelligence to teams across the group to improve performance.
• Experience in using programming languages to manipulate and analyse large datasets.
• Interest and/or background in data engineering concepts (e.g. optimisation methods, data models and structures, algorithms).
• Comfortable talking with stakeholders and communicating complex solutions clearly and concisely.
• Strong experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy etc.), and Knowledge of GCP (TensorFlow etc)
• Strong experience with visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or similar
• Strong experience in SQL, preferably with cloud-based data warehousing services like Google Big Query or Amazon Redshift
• Driven to developing high quality solutions.
• Motivated, self-learner who can work with a degree of autonomy when needed.
You will work closely with internal teams and clients (software development, testing, product etc) managing the ETL process as well as working closely with clients to provide them with insight and data they need to get the best out of their products. You will have the opportunity to grow and expand your technology skill set using a wide range of tech including, R, Python, SQL and data tools and platforms such as Tableau.

Education: Must be Master graduate in Data Science from reputed UK university and having at least 1-2 years’ experience in data science field.
