Digital Programme Manager

Role Purpose

Our Digital Programme Managers translate the overall strategy to meet business needs. They lead business-wide programmes consisting of a number of inter-connecting projects that directly enable the achievement of the group strategy, setting-up programmes through to delivery of the new capabilities, transition into business as usual and realisation of benefits.
Successfully deliver the new capabilities and establishing the correct governance for overseeing key programme decisions and identify any changes to be made across the business in conjunction with key stakeholders and define the process, organisational and system changes required to enable business benefits.

Ongoing evaluation of performance of multiple Project, including those being led by others support and embed transformation frameworks into Greene King as the Transformation team evolves.

Key Accountabilities

  • Programme Management i.e. Clearly defining projects and project deliverables.
  • Working with key stakeholders to plan and design the programme and pro-actively monitor its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
  • Set the programme governance structure for all projects with defined stage gates and decision makers
  • Engage all stakeholders in the programme so that business changes land effectively into BAU through appropriate change management strategies
  • Define operational measures and targets to ensure that programme outputs are capable of delivering the defined benefits.
  • With owners identified to actively report on benefit realisation.
  • Ensure team members feel they are supported and feel listened too, contributing to the success of our team and have a positive experience being part of Transformation delivery.

About You

  • You are an experienced Programme Manager who uses both agile and waterfall methodologies
  • You have the ability to think both strategically and analytically
  • You have delivered a commercially focused Programme for a fast paced, high growth, complex business
  • Naturally you are a leader that can not only deliver software solutions but also deliver people and progress change into existing and green field teams
  • Experience of Digital Delivery is essential for this role as you will be working on website and app projects
  • You're commercially astute and able to produce and articulate sound business plans that demonstrate clear business benefits and return on investment for proposed projects
  • Let's not forget your great communication and relationship skills which enables your stakeholder management and ability to influence at all levels
