As part of an exciting and ambitious digital transformation, the University of Surrey is currently seeking a Dynamics 365 /F&O Systems Support Analyst.

Responsible for supporting and developing Dynamics Finance and Operations infrastructure, systems and supporting services, you’ll be enabling the University to enhance its HR and Finance administrative & self-service activities.

Role & Responsibilities:

You’ll play an active role in the provisioning, installations, technical configuration, security, operation and general health management of Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and related infrastructure, including related operating systems, authentication and directory services, storage and backup systems, infrastructure management tools and available IT infrastructure components.

You will also be tasked with providing technical support within IT projects, ensuring system stability, security and availability and creating technical and user documentation to support live services. In addition, you’ll use your experience and knowledge to provide guidance and support for other ITS team members.

Key responsibilities include:

  • System administration, maintaining the health and security of the Dynamics F&O infrastructure
  • Actively monitoring changes and updates to the technology and platform and defining next steps
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to the solution
  • Contributing to the continual development of support procedures, suggest, document, and in conjunction with the department lead, implementing improvements to working practices
  • Liaising with other IT sections to facilitate knowledge transfer into support and increase the number of calls that can be handled without an onward referral
