This is a new and exciting opportunity to bring your analytics, data modelling and reporting expertise into the eCommerce team
You’ll help maximise myhermes eCommerce performance and our user experience by compiling and analysing customer, conversion and trading data, generating reports and insights and providing recommendations. Your findings will then inform the direction of Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO), proposition, acquisition, engagement and retention strategies. You’ll carve up your time between analysis (40%), insight generation/reporting (30%) and running CRO tests (30%).
What You’ll Do:
- Lead the development of the eCommerce reporting and analytics strategy, building the plan and delivering it. - Analysing behavioural trends of new and existing website customers and generating insights to help drive conversion, sales, AOV and overall trading performance - Conducting data-mining and analysis by using a variety of data including Google Analytics, CRM, trading reports, channel performance and operations MI to provide hidden insight - Creating and maintaining a suite of automated dashboards and regular reporting (Using visual tools to clearly communicate insight and opportunity to stakeholders) - Delivering MI and expert insight to inform commercial priorities for website development - Setting up and leading a programme of CRO activity using AB and MV testing in close collaboration with the UX team to optimise our eCommerce funnels - Developing models and forecasts from historic data to size commercial opportunities and optimise product, pricing and promotions across the myHermes portfolio
Essential skills and experience required:
- A sizable amount of time working within ecommerce or digital marketing, ideally in a similar role that included significant data analysis and reporting responsibilities that help influence and drive commercial decisions. - You’ll have real passion and flair for web analytics and the ability to relate this information to others at a level they’ll understand. - Demonstrable expert level knowledge of Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager - Experience of data modelling and forecasting - You will have good knowledge of CRO and experience of running and measuring AB and MV tests. - Confident using Excel (pivot tables, macros, lookups, structuring arguments that require multiple data-sets (e.g. forecasts etc)
