This role is on a permanent basis working 37 hours per week.
The role will be based in our modern head office in Birkenhead, Wirral which is easily accessible from most transport links and just a short walk from Hamilton Square train station and local bus routes. Free parking is provided to staff either on site or nearby. This role also attracts essential car allowance.
As a Facilities Manager at Magenta Living, you will be responsible for ensuring that our commercial, office, and community-based assets are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all relevant standards and regulations. You will lead a team of hard facility service staff and contractors, and manage the procurement, performance, and budget of our facility projects. You will also develop and implement electronic guidance documents and systems to support our facility management processes and maintain our ISO 14001 accreditation. You will be the subject matter expert on facility management within the organisation, and champion a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer service. To succeed in this role, you will need to have excellent planning, organising, prioritising, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office packages. You will also need to share your knowledge, experience, and skills with your team and other colleagues.
