finance business partnering manager

ICON PLC is currently recruiting an exciting opportunity for a Finance Business Partnering Manager, to join the growing team in the Finance Business Planning department, based in our Swansea office.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified Accountant, to gain responsibilities in a range of Financial and Business Partnering & Planning driven activities, become commercially focused and be a key player within the Finance activities or the global organization.

The Finance Business Partnering Manager, will be responsible for:

• Manages a functional area, department or business unit of modest size.
• Manages a departmental team around execution of functional activities and/or process improvements.
• Strong capacity to communicate actions, implications of data and drive action.
• Must be an excellent team player and provide leadership to team members.
• Individual and team contributor, responsible for their own & others work within their functional area.
• Perform other reasonably related duties, analysis and special projects as assigned.
• Travel (approximately 5%) domestic and/or international.

To be considered for the Financial Accountant II role:

• Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
• Previous experience as a functional manager is essential to be successful in the position.
• Good Systems experience & knowledge.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
• Experience assisting Finance Director with various relevant information requirements.
