Job Description

Morgan McKinley is looking for a newly qualified, ACA / ACCA Financial Accountant to work for a great company based on the outskirts of Crawley, West Sussex. The Financial Accountant will report to the CFO and assist with the consolidation and financial reporting of the businesses up to audit, finance processes as well as the wider accounting activities of the Group Finance function. This is a permanent qualified Financial Accountant role working on a hybrid basis.

Salary: £50-60K basic + bonus

Location: Hybrid - 3 days office based

Free parking onsite

Hours: 9-5.30

Financial Accountant duties:
  • Manage key aspects of consolidation process at month end, year end, budgets and forecasts
  • Provide cover for all aspects of the consolidation process (month end, year end, budgets, forecasts etc)
  • Assist in the accounting for key centrally delivered areas such as leases, share-based payments, bad debt provision
  • Production of the Group's Annual Report and consolidated financial statements
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for UK entities
  • Supporting the audit process including delivery of information, addressing queries and resolving issues.
  • Assist with budget process

Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working in a Financial Accountant role, technical financial accounts up to audit
  • Fully qualified - ACCA / ACA - ideally newly qualified or 1-2 years PQE
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
