We specialise in managing accounting, corporate taxation, payroll, VAT, business advisory and business start-up services. We are now also expanding into international financial advisory services for clients around the world.
We at Proacc Associates Limited are now looking to hire a multilingual, primarily Urdu, English, Hindi and Punjabi speaking Accounts Manager to join our team. The Accounts Manager will be a part of the accounting department of the firm and is expected to be well versed in different accounting software / ERP solutions used globally. The Accounts Manager will need to demonstrate a hands on approach and a managerial style that ensures he can independently manage his own portfolio of clients with direct contact and service delivery. High-level international experience of handling medium and large-sized accounts will be crucial to the position. The key responsibilities of the position include but will not be limited to:
• Manage portfolio of clients within and outside the United Kingdom; • Identify and develop new business prospects; • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close of client accounts; • Ensure that the accounts are prepared and presented according to the applicable financial reporting framework; • Reduce the current closing cycles by implementing new processes; • Develop spreadsheet macros and use other analytical tools to ensure swift and accurate financial reporting; • Help expand the firm’s business beyond book keeping and tap new business opportunities such as ERP / Accounting Software implementation, Financial Modeling, Budget Compilations, Business Intelligence Tools etc; • Ensure all clients’ Financial Reporting, PAYE and VAT deadlines are met; • Training and capacity building of the assigned staff; • Liaise between customers and internal departments for proper service delivery.
The successful candidate must have:
• A Masters degree in accounting or ACCA/CA or equivalent • Professional experience of at least 7 years preferably dealing with local and/or international medium and large accounts • Proven record of managing and building a team • Understanding and knowledge of national and International Financial Reporting Standards • Should have hands on experience on SAGE, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, SAP etc • Experience of implementing ERP and Business Intelligence Tools • Experience in budgeting, financial planning and business analysis; • Well versed in IT applications and Database Management Systems • Proficient in Microsoft Office especially Excel, Word, Power Point and Access • Can manage and prioritize workload and achieve effective results with fast pace • Can speak and understand English, Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi and/or other regional languages
