This young, international and highly profitable restaurant group has a popular high street brand and has ambitious plans to expand through 2023 and 2024.

As part of a recent restructure, it is now seeking to hire a hands-on and charismatic Financial Controller to own day-to-day finance.

The role includes:

• Partnering the CEO and associated Operational/Commercial heads, playing an active role in working across the business to drive improved top and bottom line performance
• Ensuring a robust financial control environment
• Managing the current outsourced accounting relationship, converting this arrangement to an insourced model in the near future
• Improving the financial processes, ensuring a 'no surprise's reporting structure, creating robust methodologies that allow for continued rapid business scale-up
• Creating high-quality management reporting, delivering forecasting, planning, budgeting and analysis
• Championing improved financial understanding through the business
• Key participation in corporate projects, i.e. new restaurants roll out, fund raising etc

Candidate skills/experience required:

• Qualified accountant with a mix of financial and management accounting experience
• Experience of working in a multi-site consumer facing sector
• Will have partnered non-finance stakeholders
• Confidence in own ability, able to influence stakeholders through a combination of personality and high quality data
• Experience of using Xero
