We have a great opportunity for a Financial IT Regional Manager to join our team based in Milton Keynes and supporting our South America region.
This is a regional management role within Financial IT and covering ACON (our in-house Invoicing system) support and development as well as the management and coordination of corporate projects for South America but based in Milton Keynes, UK.
Leading the new rollout and projects relating to ACON; agreeing project plans, resources and responsibility for the final delivery of implementations relating to ACON. You'll be responsible for planning, business process analysis, GAP analysis, problem resolution, change and conflict management, and implementation of best practices for projects too.
Manage the regional support of ACON including management of National Super Users, communication at a national and regional management level and ensuring system audit requirements are met.
ACON system set-up and configuration, reacting to changes required by users and Finance teams and ensuring regular release set ups are completed.
Provision of 3rd line functional and technical support for the South America region including out of hours support at month end and support for corporate submissions.
Escalation and issue management with our development team in Hong Kong.
Interface implementation and support; understand and support ACON standard Interface processes and local interface processes. Assist with the implementation of ne local interfaces where required.
Use Oracle SQL to interrogate the database for both problem solving and data extraction purposes; design and implementation of local Crystal reports and support for ACON standard formats and changes.
Business Process Change Support - Assist the Finance team where required in a consultative capacity when new business processes are required and complete change documentation for development purposes. Co-operation with Operational system Super Users and teams.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
Must have experience of Finance and invoicing systems (ACON would be preferable) and as a regional Super User and of new implementations. You'll also need an overall understanding of the principles of accounting.
Experienced project manager with management of technical projects and with technical experience of Finance / invoice system interface processes.
Must be Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Solid understanding of both financial and operational processes, including month end submissions.
Experience of working closely with senior Finance teams and Directors to support complex financial processes.
A confident presenter, able to communicate effectively both to large groups and at Finance Director level.
Excellent problem solving abilities, able to operate autonomously and with a pro-active approach.
Excellent IT skills; specifically you'll have Excel, Oracle database - SQL, Crystal Reports and UIPATH.
