Willett Food Projects Limited are looking for an experienced design engineer to join their small team in designing and constructing manufacturing facilities in the Food Production Industry.
WFPL employ personnel across the country and do not operate a common office. Staff are required to provide their own appropriate workspace as well as be available and have the capacity to travel when required. The frequency of travel is purely project dependent, ranging from the occasional site visit or client meeting through to full time site management.
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Liaise with manufacturing enterprises to develop project Feasibility Studies. This includes understanding and mapping complex Process Flows, developing bespoke Capacity Analyses and translating the appropriate information into practical and functional Layouts - Engage and manage contractors and consultants throughout the design period and into construction, producing contractor specific drawings and packages - Produce and manage construction Budgets and Timelines - Project Manage construction sites during the project execution phase.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience designing manufacturing facilities in the Food Production industry - Understanding of M&E service requirements in Food Production - Understanding the functional requirements of various trades required in the Food Production Industry - Excellent AutoCAD proficiency - Excellent written and oral communication skills - Understanding of Safety across all elements of projects - Motivated, creative and conscientious
Favourable Skills - CDM experience – Principle Designer and/or Principle Contractor - Experience/Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical Engineering - Experience in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical Engineering site work - Driver’s License and Vehicle « Return to the search results
