Role summary BCG is seeking an Global External Relations Senior Analyst to join its London office. Duties and responsibilities:
• managing and assessing the overall performance of the Global External Relations (GER) portfolio through the GER management tools; • working in collaboration with Finance and GER leadership to manage the overall GER budget; • driving the strategic data management and analysis to support the BCG insights at GER flagship events; • carrying out deep technical analysis of data and developing strategic insights for our senior leadership; • identifying and scoping out projects with GER Leadership and IT colleagues; • identifying and updating the core data used in GER tools that produce the insights for the business; • in partnership with the GER Leadership, ensuring to provide content support, research, expertise, analysis and documentation and identifying event/partnership improvements; • supporting the development of deliverables on GER projects ensuring highest potential for value deliver including process design of tools and business improvement plans; • working with key members of leadership within the global marketing function to identify potential investments/process improvements for BCG’s presence at Davos; • responsible for the allocation process of BCG MDP with clients during the event and working in alignment with senior leaders within BCG and Davos participants whilst tracking progress of scheduling of the meetings in each phase; • responsible for the setup and support to the bilateral program, coordination with the BCG DV team, and coordination of the WEF project activities during Davos; • working with key contributors to identify process improvements to accelerate digital development with GER tools, project success metrics and dashboards against KPIs; and • contributing to the change management and communications to continuously improve tools available to the GER Team and BCG global leadership for business decision support.
Mandatory skills, qualifications and experience
• relevant Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred; • 3-5 years BCG or equivalent experience; • demonstrable practical experience in finance or client team/business development areas and international experience; • relevant subject matter knowledge of at least one of these platforms: SQL, HTML/CSS, Tableau, or Qlikview; • demonstrable strong written and spoken English language skills; ideally multilingual; • demonstrable proficiency in software used at BCG; advanced Excel skills (VBA); • relevant experience and success in balancing program, change, and people management; • strong relevant experience working in an Agile team on critical line-of-business applications; • willingness to travel, as presence at some meetings will be required; • demonstrable understanding of the data required to identify compelling stories and strategic business insights; • demonstrable excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the organization, specifically liaising with our Global Leaders; • exceptional attention to detail and excellent coordination and organization skills; • relevant experience managing multiple projects and stakeholder expectations effectively; • relevant experience working in a virtual team environment across time zones and cultures, with ability to proactively drive responsibilities and self-manage to the highest quality standards; • ability to work in a global and fast paced environment and remain calm in times of pressure; and • a “whatever it takes” team player and collaborative attitude.
