Global Marketing Executive

Location : London, UK

Salary : Circa GBP 30-35k

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing Executive to be based in London, UK to join a small, friendly, and ambitious marketing team within a leading global energy consultancy company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in demand generation and multi-channel campaign execution, preferably within a B2B environment, and will be motivated by the prospect of playing a pivotal role in an expanding business.

Please note that this is a hybrid working role, a split between office and home working where you will be required to attend the office in London 2-3 times/week.

Experience - Need to have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead-generation marketing role in a B2B environment
• Academic background/degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, or Communications
• Proven/hands-on digital marketing experience (SEO, web development, social media, etc)
• Strong copywriting experience
• GCSEs in Maths and English
• Evidence of implementing measurable 360 marketing campaigns
• Essential knowledge of digital marketing techniques
• Experience measuring key performance metrics, including website traffic, audience engagement, bounce rate, etc
• Ability to understand commercial objectives and interpret these into strong and focused briefs
• Excellent planner with the ability to deliver outstanding projects simultaneously
• Strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
• Advanced IT knowledge
• Accuracy and a good eye for detail are essential
• Positive, creative, and influential mindset
• A motivated self-starter with a desire to make an impact

Experience - Nice to have:

• Experience working in an SME or start-up environment
• Experience in marketing research and analytical reporting
• Knowledge of WordPress, Hootsuite, or other digital marketing tools
• Confident in Adobe Creative Cloud
• Proven Project Management Skills
• CRM experience - Dynamics 365 specifically
• Multi-lingual proficiency - Spanish specifically
• Interest in agile marketing principles
• Interest in energy and sustainability

This role will see you actively support the Global Marketing & Communications Manager with the day-to-day delivery of external communications strategies across all marketing channels. Your primary focus will be on generating high-quality leads for the Penspen business through the execution of inbound and outbound marketing activities. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects from start to finish, from the development of digital channels, management of the marketing funnel and lead generation process in the CRM, to content creation of online and offline marketing assets such as white papers, case studies, brochures, blog posts and thought leadership articles.

We are looking for a performance-driven marketing professional with a positive attitude and commercial mindset, who will be able to take strategic instruction and manage projects effectively whilst developing excellent working relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Furthermore, being able to keep up with industry news to identify and create compelling content that resonates with our diverse range of clients is key.
