We are a capability that combines clinical, software development and business change expertise and combined enable the NHS to provide 24/7 options for recovery to their patient groups.  

Overview:
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as a MSc Data Analyst Degree Graduate Apprentice. 
As part of a small and growing team, we are radically changing the healthcare landscape and you will play an integral role in our growth and scaling as we develop further our excellence in digital self-management. 

As a team, we work flexibly across both our Temple Meads (Bristol) office and home working environment and communicate regularly through Teams calls to ensure we maintain the team ethos and network.

We already operate with common data capture analytic tools such as PowerBI, Google analytics and Sentry.

Salary: 
£27,000 per annum. 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Administer and perform our Business Intelligence tasks in our data management software 
  • Retrieve company data from SQL-based data warehouse 
  • Extracting relevant and accurate information using SQL queries for usage within key projects 
  • Creating Visualizations to communicate data effectively 
  • Applying appropriate data tools to perform calculations and generate insightful reports 
  • Cleansing Data and improving storage/ingestion processes 
  • Conducting data cleansing and optimizing workflows for data integrity for critical company processes 

Desirable skills / experience with: 

  • Data analysis, problem solving, teamwork, perseverance, organisation and time management 
  • Data Science reporting 
  • Developing informative visualizations for diverse audiences of differing experience 
  • Ability to lean programming Languages: Python, VBA, SQL 
  • Microsoft Power Package: Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate 
  • Microsoft 365 Suite: Including very strong Excel skills 

Entry Requirements: 
Honours degree (2:2 or above) in an appropriate Computing, Technology or Engineering discipline.

In order to attempt the EPA apprentices must have achieved: 

  • GCSE Maths and English at Grade C 
  • You may still enter the programme but will need to evidence Level 2 Maths and English qualification before starting the gateway and EPA.

Non-standard entry: 
Relevant qualifications and/or work experience will be taken into consideration where the applicant has the judged potential to benefit from the programme. Requests will be considered on an individual basis where appropriate.

Informal Interviews: 
Informal interviews will be held where:

  • The suitability of a candidate is in doubt and further evidence is sought. 
  • The candidate presents an unusual set of qualifications taken or pending, and an appropriate conditional offer needs to be determined. 
  • Candidates may need advice on the appropriateness of the programme. 
  • Applicants invited for an informal interview will always be informed of its purpose. 

End Point Assessment:
You must be able to evidence level 2 English and Maths before you start your End Point Assessment. You may still be begin the programme without these but must obtain the qualifications in order to begin the EPA.
