We have a new exciting opportunity for a Head of Delivery to join a growing, family-run SME based in Antrim. Your role will be to manage the Delivery Team, taking final responsibility for project profits, programmes & H&S, whilst working as an enthusiastic team member to exceed company goals and client satisfaction. You must have the willingness to travel and be prepared for overnight stays on projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing all personnel within delivery team
  • Monthly 1-2-1 meetings with all team members
  • Manage & improve project GP including extras & variations
  • Accurate & timely GP reporting
  • Negotiation with suppliers & subcontractors
  • Manage all legal contracts & service level agreement
  • Maintain & develop subcontractor pool & relationships
  • Manage & improve all project programmes/timelines
  • Manage & improve onsite H&S system & reporting
  • Manage & attend all client site meetings
  • Attend client presentations when requested
  • Ensure all projects are completed on-time & on budget
  • Constantly review & improve working practices
  • Ensure excellent customer service and quality delivery
  • Weekly reports/ dashboards
  • Ensure KPIs are met and exceeded

Requirements

  • High level of competency on financial reporting
  • Experience within commercial fitout industry essential
  • Excellent planning & programme skills
  • Experience in design & build (desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills including people management
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in construction industry software
  • Experience in using Excel
  • First Aid/CSR/NEBOSH/IOSH for senior managers desirable
  • Must be IT/computer literate
  • Accountable, good time keeping
  • Eye for detail and data driven.

Hours: 40 - 45 hours per week - Monday - Friday (must be willing to travel wit over night stays where appropriate)
