We're seeking a future team member for the role of Product Marketing Manager to join our Investment Management Distribution team. This role is located in London and is a HYBRID role with 2-3 days on the office.
Purpose: The incumbent will contribute to the Global Economics and Investment Analysis (GEIA) team's research products and other content creation for BNY Mellon's Investment Management business. This position requires deep knowledge of European economies and markets, strong critical thinking, quantitative/statistical/econometric modelling, and research skills. Requires strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to forge strong relationships with global distribution and the investment firms to promote macro and markets understanding. This role will work closely with other parts of the business, especially Investment Firms, European Sales, Products Strategy, and Marketing teams across Investment Management and requires a strong understanding of the business. Strong communication skills - both internally and externally, with clients and media - are a must. This position requires utilizing excellent MS Office Skills as well as high level of experience and knowledge of investment software and databases including Bloomberg, Factset, Excel, and Global Financial Data.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Display expert knowledge of financial markets and take a global approach to conduct macroeconomic analysis on European economies and financial markets.
  • Synthesize economic and markets research findings into clear, easily understandable reports and present investment strategy views to current/prospective clients, investment firms, global distribution, IM leadership and externally.
  • Use macroeconomic, industry, and financial data to develop GEIA team's market outlook and forecasts. Contribute to quarterly, monthly, and weekly research output. Stand in for Chief Economist as necessary.
