This opportunity is in the solution design and development arena for IT Project Manager who will play a major role with the technical design and development of company’s technical offerings. The role is based at our Leicester office with occasional assignments at client locations

Job Description (Main Duties and Responsibilities):

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of large scale, user centric software delivery project for various industry/technology verticals and clients
• Develop PMO’s strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables.
• Agree the programme costs, scope, timing and requirements with customers
• Build and manage high performing multi-disciplinary teams (IT, users and stakeholders.)
• Manage and own significant commercial budgets across the projects
• Implement agile delivery methodologies across delivery with understanding of scrum, safe and hybrid methods
• Leading the planning and implementation of projects.
• Defining a project’s scope and goals.
• Planning and scheduling project timelines.
• Coordinating project staff.
• Resource planning and allocation.
• Quality assurance.
• Carrying out risk assessment.
• Managing project administration, including all documentation.
• Meeting budgetary objectives.
• Reporting regularly to senior management.
• Managing client relationships.
• Tracking project performance.
• Project evaluations and results measurement.

Key Skills, Qualifications and Experience Needed [The candidate must demonstrate these in all stages of assessment]

• Professional office software (Excel Advanced in must) and PM softwares like MSP
• An industry qualifications such as PRINCE2, 'Agile' project management, PMP or APM
