You will be work at Ty Gwyn Hall, a rehabilitation and recovery service for people who have been diagnosed with a range of mental health conditions. There is a strong emphasis on teamwork and CPD, where you will have access to a range of training opportunities to move your career forward.

As a Lead Psychologist, you will support people with mental health needs and will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, risk assessments, facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and will be requested to design and deliver training.

Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the systematic development and provision of psychology services at Ty Gwyn Hall, where you will support and develop a team of qualified and in-training Psychologists, providing supervision within a clinical environment.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • BPS accredited
  • HCPC Registered
  • Post-graduate doctoral level training in Clinical or Forensic Psychology OR Masters level training in Forensic Psychology, whichhas led to chartered status with the Division of Forensic Psychology
  • At least three years experience working with adults with complex mental health needs
  • Experience using CBT skills to address a range of clinical and/or forensic concerns
