About the role
Our established School of Human Sciences within the College of Science and Engineering is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Toxicology/Clinical Biochemistry to contribute to the teaching, curriculum development, research and consultancy in the discipline area of Biomedical and Forensic Science.
You will join an academic community that delivers high quality programmes and takes pride in offering our students a fantastic learning experience through our academic provision and active research culture. We focus on creating opportunities for students to gain practical experiences that brings their education to life, enhances their employability, and fosters future aspirations. You must have relevant experience to deliver high quality provision within the area of Toxicology/Clinical Biochemistry. Furthermore, professional experience in the Forensic Science sector is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the research and / or consultancy agenda within the School of Human Sciences.
You will join a highly committed team that provide a range of degree programmes in Biomedical and Forensic Sciences. With high professional standing and high standards we would expect that you would not only provide an impetus for teaching, curricular development, research and/or consultancy in your specialist area, but also contribute to the team effort in delivering the programmes for which the whole discipline area is responsible.
