The Role We are seeking to appoint a permanent lecturer/senior lecturer with a proven track record in research, teaching and course development. We are looking for a social scientist and are particularly interested in those with a disciplinary background in issues concerning contemporary schooling. Experience of programme leadership and quantitative methods would be an advantage. In order to maintain our strong reputation for and commitment to a first rate student experience we are looking for an outstanding academic colleague keen on research informed teaching. The successful applicant will join the thriving and innovative Education team and compliment our diverse range of research interests.
The Person With this post we are looking for particular proven expertise/interest in contemporary perspectives in education; and one of the following: - Environmental Education - Contexts for Inclusion All applicants must have HE teaching experience and an accepted teaching qualification (or be prepared to undertake PGCE HE and or FHEA). Applicants should also be in possession of an educational related Masters degree and a PhD or cognate discipline.
