Salary: £70,000 plus excellent benefits package including 25 days holiday, competitive pension scheme, hybrid working, and many more.

Scania is looking for a talented and experienced commercial solicitor to join as Legal Counsel to directly support the General Counsel (Head of Legal and Compliance) and to provide commercial contracts, and other legal advice to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Purchase and sales contracts review and negotiation
• Production of contract templates
• Data protection advice
• Competition law advice
• Policy drafting
• Legal training
• Watching brief on new legislation and regulation on the horizon
• Legal research

Meet the Manager

Amanda is the General Counsel (Head of Legal and Compliance) whose team provides legal advice and support across the business. The team is made up of 6 people. Amanda is looking for an excellent commercial lawyer to fill this position and really ‘hit the ground running’.
