We have a fantastic job opportunity for a Fire Safety Surveyor to join our awesome team of building and safety professionals.
You’ll be responsible for fire related improvement works in our properties using Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) as part of your day-to-day job. You’ll also respond promptly to actions identified, specifying works required to correct standards.
You’ll manage on site works to successful completion through pre and post inspection. You’ll also ensure work is delivered in accordance with Building Regulations, good practice and fire safety standards.
You make sure that our customers’ experience is at the heart of everything you do. You act quickly when things go wrong, take ownership and are accountable to put things ‘right first time’ through collaborative working.
Where and when you’ll do your job
You’ll look after our properties throughout Sussex, and ideally you’ll live in reasonable proximity to reduce your time in the car travelling. This means that we do need you to be able to drive and have access to your own vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we pay you for that use and your mileage.
You’ll have the flexibility of working either from home or in one of our local offices and we’ll give you the technology and kit to make that easy. The job is very hybrid with one ‘base’ day in your local office, on site working and the rest of the week home-based.
