Management Accountant

We are currently working with a fast-growing real estate firm that owns and manages properties across the UK. They are seeking a Management Accountant to join their finance team in West London.

Responsibilities include

• Prepare management accounts on a monthly basis for revenue and operational expenditure, preparing accruals and prepayments within tight deadlines
• Analyse and report on changes to revenue, and revenue-related balance sheet lines, Month-on-month, Year to date and against Forecast
• Prepare of balance sheet reconciliations
• Overview the accrued and deferred income balance sheet accounts
• Create reliable and accurate monthly revenue accruals liaising with other teams
• Prepare management reporting for key stakeholders and senior management, on P&L variances at month-end, reforecasts and on an ad hoc basis as required.
• Prepare monthly bad debt reporting
• Review and processing of tenant refunds
• Coordination and protection of customer deposits with the TDS
• Assist with budget preparation
• Support with processes improvements
• Participate in internal and external audits

Key Requirements

• Accounting qualification or working towards that
• Experience in a similar role with strong revenue accounting focus
• Property experience ideally in a fast-paced environment
• Solid technical skills, especially Excel
