Job description

We are looking to recruit an experienced Marketing Manager to join our growing team, providing a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual looking to progress their career with a recognised brand, in the business to business professional services market.

This full-time role reports to the National Senior Marketing Manager and will involve strategic development and delivery of marketing programmes aligned to the firm’s strategy. Candidates will need a strong business to business professional services marketing background, preferably within accountancy, and be familiar with working in a consultative environment. If you are comfortable working across all areas of the marketing mix, can work to tight deadlines and have a delivery focused 'can do’ approach, this is the perfect role for you.

The successful candidate will be developing and delivering strategic marketing plans and campaigns working with Crowe’s Corporate Business sector. Corporate business covers manufacturing, food and beverage, technology and media, property and construction, financial services, mining and energy, retail and life sciences and healthcare.

The marketing team is predominantly based in Crowe’s London office but collaborates nationally across all offices. Travel to other offices will be required depending on the needs of the business.

Responsibilities

• Develop marketing plans that align with the corporate sector business plans to help raise Crowe’s reputation, increase recognition and build relationships in the focused sub-sectors, highlighting our partner’s specialist skills and services in our desired markets.
• Develop, deliver and lead comprehensive marketing campaigns from inception through to completion.
• Develop an awareness and understanding of the entire Corporate Business sector and business activity within its sub-sectors with a view to:
• advising partners on potential marketing campaigns and programmes
• providing prompts and direction to the PR team on media comment and social media campaigns relating to marketing priorities identified in each sub-sector’s marketing plan
• conducting relevant client and competitor intelligence
• identifying emerging trends to add value to conversations and marketing plans as well as updating existing content
• suggest awards that may be relevant for teams and have an input in drafting award submissions
• writing, editing and curating content for email marketing, the website, advertising, brochures social media and other digital content
• communicate successes and raise awareness of sectors/services through internal communication channels
• identify opportunities to collaborate and complement other sectors
• facilitate cross sector business development opportunities working closely with the client and markets team.
• Line management of one marketing executive.
• Effectively build and manage stakeholder relationships through knowledge sharing and expectation management.
• Collating, editing, updating and proofing all core marketing content.
• Effectively measure, evaluate and present back on all marketing activity and performance measures to help inform continuous improvement.
• Develop target groups through segmentation via CRM for effective external communications.
• Work with the CRM super users to ensure stakeholders effectively use CRM and develop appropriate reports to feed into marketing and business development activities.
• Work with the business development team to support sector proposals and inform them of ways they can raise the profile of our brand.
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all marketing content.

• Works well in a team and on their own, with an ability to manage and prioritise their own workload.
• Line management experience, with ability to mentor junior team members.
• CRM experience (preferably InterAction) and use of HTML emailing platforms.
• Excellent knowledge and application of the full Microsoft office suite.

Qualifications

• Degree level education in marketing or CIM qualified. We are open to candidates who do not have these qualifications, if they have proven relevant experience.
• Previous professional services experience is desired, preferably in accountancy.
