Do you enjoy conducting market analysis & research, and have any interest in Carbon neutral technology or thermal management technology? If so we are looking to appoint a new Market Analyst in our Applied Technologies team, so this could be the role for you.

You will analyse and assess our customers and competitors to make data-driven recommendations to Business Development Managers & Project Managers/Sectors Leads on where our technology could be used. Your input will help to contribute to the ongoing development of the business strategy and direction, and will include collection and analysis of market intelligence, literature searches, estimating costs and durations, identify technologies, suppliers and customers.

Reaction Engines’ Applied Technologies division is taking the game-changing heat transfer technology developed through SABRE and commercialising it in the Aerospace, Automotive and Energy markets. From zero-emissions aircraft, to hypercars, to waste heat recovery, Reaction Engines’ thermal management is unlocking more performance and enabling a more sustainable world.

To be successful you'll need:

  • Degree level education, or equivalent experience
  • Market awareness with some technical understanding is required. (This role is at the intersection of business development, science and engineering.)
  • Knowledge of tools/methods used in creating business cases
  • Experience of conducting research and analysis
  • Quick learner - whilst expertise in all fields is not required, candidates should be willing and able to learn on the job.
  • Independent worker - candidates should be comfortable working from top-level guidance and exhibit creative and lateral thinking in exploring the subject area
  • Any experience in or knowledge of - market analysis, business analysis, business development, zero emissions & carbon neutral technology, thermal management technology, hydrogen fuel cell systems, power generation, motorsport, aircraft systems - would be an advantage.

Salary: £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience

Working hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week. Flexible working arrangements will be considered
