marketing executive

We are currently seeking a Marketing Executive to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Peterborough. As the Marketing Executive, you will support the team to successfully achieve the marketing strategy and activities, particularly responsible for email marketing, social media, and ensuring the website is regularly updated with new content. You will oversee the company's content and editorial calendar including case studies, educational content and storytelling through a variety of media; as well as the coordination of events continually measuring the success of these tactics to inform future marketing plans and effectively support business growth ambitions. This fantastic opportunity will be working on segmented campaigns to many key names in the industry and has huge potential for progression whilst working closely with the Marketing Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager, bring your ideas, experience and insights to help implement marketing activities, including the effective use of website, CRM and social media
• Create persuasive and engaging email campaigns and customer communications based on key brand messaging, latest opportunities and ultimately supporting KPI priorities
• Oversee the delivery of the company's content and editorial calendar, to create, coordinate and commission exceptional and diverse content to support brand awareness and lead generation activities
• Coordinate the creation of impactful customer reviews, case studies and testimonials to help promote our track record to new prospects
• Support coordination of events and external exhibitions, working with senior management, clients and other relevant stakeholders
• Liaise with suppliers and external agencies, including designers, printers or other similar providers
• Support the consistent application of brand standards across all our communications and ensure brand compliance where relevant
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and sharing knowledge with the team
• Support the marketing team with activities where required to deliver wider operational priorities and deliverables

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience working within an in-house marketing (or similar) team
• Marketing qualification and/or degree in this discipline (desirable but not essential)
• Experience using marketing technology, like CRM or email marketing provider
• Experience using WordPress or other CMS system for website management
• Strong copywriting skills and experience of creating engaging content for different platforms
• Adobe Creative Cloud skills (desirable but not essential)
• Enthusiastic and solutions-focused approach
• Attention to detail and pride in how your work is presented to clients
• Strong teamwork, organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
• A real drive and passion to deliver, and agility to take action quickly
• Open to occasional domestic and international travel for business events
