Role: Marketing Manager

Location: Castleford, West Yorkshire with site visits if required

Hours Per Week: Monday to Friday, 40hrs per week.

About the Marketing Manager role:

Reporting into the Head of Sales & Marketing you will take the lead in executing on the tactical and operational elements of the marketing strategy and plan; primary focus will be to support the new sales business activity, building brand awareness and credibility through a content driven strategy, and continuing to raise the profile internally and externally in support of business development activity.

Responsibilities of our Marketing Manager will include:

• Ownership of CRM system and data management
• Research competitor & prospect customer activity and market trends
• Lead generation and supporting the sales team KPI growth targets
• Engagement with SLT and key stakeholders on marketing content
• Website development and ongoing management
• Intranet development and ongoing management
• Management of social media activity including blogs, LinkedIn, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, etc
• PR management of press releases and sponsored content
• Online content copywriting and/or management of external agency/freelancers
• Internal and external communications
• Marketing collateral content in text, graphic and video format
• Plan and deliver in-person events such as exhibitions, roadshows and pop-up shops
• Brand ownership and guidelines
• Branding, Positioning and Communication: Create clear, consistent, and targeted communications for sales, product/service management, customer experience, and leadership on campaign strategy, marketing plans, calendar of events, and measurements for success.
• Data analysis and problem solving of marketing activity and presentation of updates to management team

Essential Requirements to be successful as our Marketing Manager:

• Degree educated in Marketing or Business equivalent
• CIM qualification desirable
• Marketing graduate or person with strong marketing experience
• Experience of working primarily in B2B
• Creative mindset
• Photoshop/illustrator experience
• Video editing experience
• Experience of creating and delivering social media strategies
• Experience of PR and managing agencies
• Strong digital marketing and email experience
• Good copywriting skills
• First-class organization and motivation skills

Skills and experience required:

• MS Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel & Publisher
• HubSpot experience desirable
• Adobe Suites including InDesign, Photoshop & proficiency in Apple MAC
• Confident oral and written communication skills
• Strong numeracy and analytical ability
• Excellent interpersonal skills at board and customer level
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced organisation
