Priory Lodge School are looking for an outstanding Maths Teacher to join their Teaching team. Duties will include:
• Knowledge and experience of preparing, assessing and teaching Maths GCSE and Maths Functional Skills; • Proven record of increasing outcomes in Maths; • Dynamic and innovative approach to teaching Maths; • Strong behaviour management skills that compliments Positive Behaviour Support approaches; • Carrying out the professional duties covered by the latest School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document; • Undertaking duties in line with the professional standards for qualified teachers and uphold the professional code of the General Teaching Council for England; • Teaching a class of pupils, and ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs; • Maintaining the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom; • Providing timely and accurate reports to all stakeholders including SLT, Governors (as required) and parent/carers; • Providing accurate assessments of learning and progress and matched against aspirational and appropriate targets; • Upholding the positive ethos and core values of the school, both inside and outside the classroom and to promote the school’s mission statement ‘Learning together, developing potential, touching hearts and engaging minds.
