Job Description:

Middleweight Designer

Location: London, Bristol or Leeds

Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals. The design team has a key role in helping to visually communicate how we can help.

By leveraging our evolving visual identity, we create memorable experiences that inform and engage all our audiences. Projects that the team work on cover large internal events, creative campaigns for key client audiences, animations for new product and service launches, digital proposals for new client wins and social campaigns for talent attraction.

A look into the role

As a designer within the brand and content team you will:

Create visually engaging designs using the Grant Thornton brand identity. These will include but not limited to: digital experiences, animated and static social media assets, infographics and data visualisation reports, brochures, proposals, event collateral, advertising and campaigns.

  • Work with the design manager, discussing briefs and concepts
  • Liaise directly with internal clients on briefs and at times presenting your work
  • Use the job booking and tracking system to ensure briefs are delivered to requirements and on time
  • Act as a guardian and educator on the firm’s identity and guidelines

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a Mid-weight designer, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience in an in-house role or agency and, strong communication and Adobe CC skills. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:

  • Experience in professional services is an advantage
  • After Effects skills would be ideal but not essential.
  • Amazing time management skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • A good understanding of how to translate content to print and digital environments
  • The ability to communicate well to people at all levels
