Mobile App Software Developer - Hybrid Working Available (Job Code: 23N/APPP)

The successful applicant will play a crucial role in time sensitive and commercially crucial projects.

The role will involve the development of largely mobile-based applications for divisions within Randox, which in turn helps Randox keep ahead of the game. The role:

  • Develop mobile apps in line with approved specifications.
  • Ensure all development is in compliance with the 'controlled software development’ procedure.
  • Ensure all development is in compliance with the 'controlled software maintenance’ procedure.
  • Provide maintenance and 3rd line support as required.
  • Work closely with designers, IT operations and staff to ensure software is developed in line with best practice and customer requirements.
  • Produce detailed documentation for all development work including flowcharts, layouts, code comments etc.
  • Preparation of training manuals for users.
  • Evolve and improve existing software systems and architecture in various areas as needed.
  • Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and fully compliant for all developed software.
  • Adherence to company Positive work Environment Policies, health & safety procedures, and the maintenance of a safe working environment.

The Candidate:

Essential:

  • A higher-level qualification in Software engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Experience building front-end products (web and / or mobile)
  • Experience releasing an app through the IOS or Android App stores
  • Experience working with Microsoft .NET Framework
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server

Desirable:

  • Previous experience with Mobile App Frameworks such as React Native, Xamarin or .net MAU
