A bit about the job:
We are looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join the Mobile Platform Team within our Digital Engineering organisation, working within our scrum teams to build and maintain, change and further evolve both existing and new products. You’ll sustain our culture of continuous improvement both from a process and a technical perspective.
Aviva uses "smart-working", and the person in this role will be based at our Norwich or London offices.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
Commercial experience in building C# MVVM mobile applications using Xamarin.
Experience of working within an agile environment; able to identify and shape requirements, understand the technical detail, provide input into the planning and estimation of features all whilst fostering team spirit and collaboration within your team
Understanding of engineering best practices principles, such as SOLID.
Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, such as Test-Driven Development, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration & Industry Standards.

National Salary Circa £35,000, London Salary Circa £50,000 (depending on skills, experience, and qualifications)
